AGILITY CLASSES
Dog Agility is a dog sport where a handler directs their dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. Dogs run off-leash and the handler controls their dog by using voice, movement, and various body signals. This requires exceptional training and coordination of the handler.
Our agility course consists of a set of standard obstacles used in competition (or trials as they are called in the industry), and include strategies to strengthen your dog for competing with precision and speed.
Here in the United States, the major agility organizations are the AKC, USDAA, NADAC, CPE and UKC. They hold trials across the country where dog and handler teams can compete and earn titles. Our World Renowned Trainer, Kelsey Kirkpatrick, offers training in this extremely popular sport.
Kelsey has competed in Agility Competitions with her own dog, Ace, winning more than 50 titles from the AKC Nationals, the AKC World Team Tryouts, two Regional trials, and two USDAA (United States Dog Agility Association) competes.
